The Influence Of Dehumanization On The Processing Of Face Configuration

After being dehumanized,the individual will have dehumanized cognition and obvious aggression behavior for the dehumanized person.However,the relevant conclusions are drawn in the context of the dehumanization of the racial conflict of ethnic conflicts.It is unclear whether the same conclusions exist in the context of subtle forms of dehumanization in daily life.Secondly,because it is subject to social norms in daily life,after being dehumanized,individuals do not necessarily show obvious attacks on dehumanized people.Instead,they will be replaced in a more subtle way.Express dissatisfaction with the inhumane.Face recognition is mainly based on the configuration process,which indicates that an object is classified as “human” on a subtle level of perception,but the configuration process is not static.Whether or not to go to humanity,this negative cognitive change will affect the process of configuration and whether there are other psychological factors in it,and research is still needed.Therefore,this study has been explored from the perspective of dehumanized people through a pre-experiment,two formal studies,using experimental methods and ERP techniques.After being subjected to subtle forms of dehumanization in daily life,individuals are dehumanized.Whether the dehumanized cognition produced by the person will weaken the configuration process of the face of the dehumanized person and the role of the attention bias of the negative emotional stimulus.The specific research conclusions are as follows:(1)After being subjected to subtle forms of dehumanization in daily life,the individual will have a dehumanized cognition of the dehumanized person.(2)Dehumanized cognition weakens the configuration process of the face of the dehumanized person in the combined face task and the resolution face task.(3)In the ERP component,the control group induced a larger N170 negative wave related to the configuration process for the non-humanized face;the non-humanized starter group was more tested than the control group.A larger N2 pc amplitude associated with the attentional bias of negative emotional stimuli was induced at PO5.
