Teacher discourse has always been a hot topic for foreign linguists and experts in second language acquisition.Domestic scholars began their research on teacher discourse at the end of the 20 th century,mainly focusing on college English classes.Until recent years,some scholars have turned their attention to teacher feedback.What this essay studies is the teacher's feedback language in English class,which refers to the verbal response made by English teachers to students' answering behaviors or words.I use the classroom observation to count the number of feedback of six English teachers.And I analyze some classroom fragments.The questionnaire survey method was used to investigate students' attitudes towards teachers' feedback.Finally,the paper analyzes and discusses the quantity and types of feedback language used by teachers in primary school English classes,students' preference for feedback language,the influence on students' learning emotion and the influence on the promotion of classroom discourse output theoretically and practically.Based on the analysis and discussion,this paper draws the following conclusions:under the background of the new curriculum reform,primary school English teachers pay more and more attention to the dominant position of students in classroom learning,teachers' feedback language has received the attention of English teachers,and teachers' feedback language shows a diversified development trend;However,the distribution of all kinds of feedback language is not balanced.Teachers have a preference for the use of feedback language,and they fail to use all kinds of feedback language in a balanced way.Students have a preference for feedback.And there is a big gap with the teacher's preference;Teachers' feedback has positive and negative effects on students' learning emotion.Different teacher feedback words have different effects on students' discourse output.According to the research results,I put forward some Suggestions on how to improve the quality of primary school English teachers feedback: improving the feedback technology,increasing more comprehensible language input;To understand students' preference for teachers' feedback and meet students' needs;Paying attention to students' emotional experience,correcting errors in stages;Making reasonable use of various feedback strategies to create more opportunities for discourse output.
