On The "reverse" And Design In Evolution

Design appears unconsciously since the humans use the first tool in the sprouting stage of human civilization.Design keeps developing from then in the depth,from the primitive stone tools and iron tools to life tools and hunting tools in the later stage.Moreover,the variety of design keeps expanding,from hoes,to bicycles,to automobiles,to mobile phones,and to skyscrapers.In the modern times,design has been popularized in every aspect of human civilization and keeps promoting progress of human civilization.At the same time,the evolution of human civilization in turn promotes design to innovate and advance all the way.This relationship between design and human civilization can be said a complementary and mutually supportive evolution relationship.In recent years,increasing newer words(like AI)have been appearing in the design field.Humans are extremely proud of the mushroom development of artificialization,which however is accompanied with anxiety.Humans,the product of nature evolution,also evolve human civilization using "artif-icial" design.Humans are worried about whether they would be unable to adapt to the environment if they broke away from such artificial evolution.Besides,they doubt about whether such evolution is a historical evolution or theworrisome "counter-evolution".In this paper,the redesign behavior of humans for themselves is involved in the debate of "counter-evolution".This debate is about whether the resign of humans,i.e.the artificial evolution of humans,is really an evolution or a kind of "counter-evolution" for the humans.In the concept of design,design is for the humans,and it keeps changing our recognition.Taking glasses as an example,the development of glasses,from the normal ones,to contact lenses,and to the functional glasses like VR andAR,reflects the complementary evolution relationship between design and human bodies.Human eyes evolve to need a new world of sense due to human design,and design makesit come true.However,could humans come back to the life without glasses and AI if the artificially designed items suddenly disappeared,without glasses,VR and Al around?This paper will discuss the "counter-evolution" opinion and whether humans and human bodies are designed or actively design.
