Research And Interpretation Of Chinese Cultural Elements In Qi Erpin's "Five Concert Etudes"

Mr.Zilpin,a famous Russian-American composer and pianist,had an important influence on the creation of Chinese piano music in the 1930 s.He not only promoted the creation of Chinese piano music at that time,but also brought many works of Chinese cultural elements to Europe,showing the charm of Chinese music nationality to the world.Zilpin completed the creation of Five Concert Etudes(OP.52)from 1934 to 1936.This is precisely the time when he frequently committed crimes in music activities in China and Japan,and the creators of the whole set of songs felt the influence of Chinese music and Chinese cultural elements.Published by Schott Publishing House in Germany in 1936 and premiered by Zilpin himself in Tokyo in the same year.Starting from Mr.Zilpin's cultural identity,this paper expounds the Chinese cultural elements in the piano works of Five Concert Etudes(OP.52).The full text is divided into three chapters: The first chapter is an introduction,which introduces the background and significance of this topic,including the creation background of this work,Zilpin's life and the works and overall characteristics of Chinese cultural elements created by Zilpin in China,the influence of Zilpin's various "cultural identities" on the creation of works with Chinese cultural elements,and the domestic and foreign current situation of this topic.The second chapter introduces the definition of the proposition of "Chinese Cultural Elements".It includes melody,tonality,musical form,timbre,artistic conception,texture and techniques.Finally,the third chapter explores the theoretical basis of the analysis of the second chapter.On this basis,Suo gave some enlightenment to the interpretation of performance and Piano teaching.
