In Neolithic, the art of pottery is enchanting. The purpose is has a more comprehensive understanding with the main decorations fish-patterned, frog-patterned. I wrote the paper. Full texts have five chapters. The main contents are as follows: chapter I focus on the conduct of the study's significance, value and methods. In the pottery decoration, fish-patterns and frog-patterns have the most widely distribute, transmission time is the longest, and deeply into the ancient people's daily life. Therefore, their research has very important significance. While there has been a lot of our predecessors on this research, but in the text of the macro-decorated comparison between the two patterns, the relationships, their respective contents and original aesthetic features still have much space to study, while the add of the above-mentioned problems are the value of this paper. Chapter II in respect of the Neolithic pottery on the fish, frogs'decoration appearance, distribution and evolution made a presentation and analysis. Firstly, it is discussing the formation and decoration materials of the painted pottery. Secondly, the analysis of the two ornamentations'temporal and spatial distribution patterns, both in Yangshao culture, the former of the Yangshao culture developed most typically; while frog-patterns are developed into a typical decoration in Majiayao culture, they are get together in the space-time distribution. Following is discussion them of the evolution of history, pointing out that two kinds of decorations are generally experienced by the realism of the geometric course of the development, but also the evolution of the existing common personality. Chapter III focuses on the connotation and mutual relations between the two kinds. On the one hand through the ancient literature, get the fish-related records were discussed, from the ancients to analyze the different perspectives of the ancient human society is inseparable from economic and political relations. On the other hand from the ancient literature to explore the frog-patterns'the important role of agricultural production and with the national learning materials, as exemplified by frog patterns in the three areas that reflect the social consciousness of our ancestors: one is moon god theory, two is reproductive worship theory, and three is human self-worship theory. Chapters IV study of the two kinds of decorative patterns characteristic shape, the composition of pottery and aesthetic characteristics. Fish-patterns have the triangle as the basic composition elements, the lines transformation from stiff to the soft; while frog-patterns mainly by the circular structure, to the late have an exponential trend. Fish-patterns painted on pots of multi-type apparatus, attached on the inner or outer drum of the upper abdomen convex; frog-patterns are similar with fish-patterns early , late mainly painted on the outer wall of the tanks, cans, jars and other large objects. Form of development of fish and frog decorations that from the realistic to the geometric reflects the progress of production process and people's aesthetic taste of the change: one hand, the increase of the amount of pottery making painters simplify the image prompted to save time costs; the other hand, showing acceptance and recognition about people with line shape that have the decorative means. Chapter V is for full-text summary of the content. The main conclusions are as follows: 1, the two kinds spread long on the time and wide in the space, and two kinds are getting together on the spatial and temporal distribution. 2, They have the different evolutionary process, and also have similarities, they have gone through the growing number of patterns from the developed to the simplified geometric abstraction-oriented process, which in art is more common in the development process.3, the pattern of the connotation with a long time scholars have different opinions, but still with ancient philology, sociology and ethnic studies, recto study. 4, the two kinds'shape and composition linked with the original production and living needs and the resulting aesthetic taste of human.
