| The language style is “the language atmosphere and style formed by the use of language”.Because different people have different language styles,the language style is also considered to be the language personality and distinctive features of the expression subject using specific means.Each writer has his own habit of arranging words in his literary creation.These habits are hidden in the lines of words,forming a language style that distinguishes writers from another writer.Because of this,the study of language style should be based on specific language materials,to observe what kind of preferences or habits the writer uses in rhetorical arrangement,syntactic organization and chapter arrangement.On this issue,traditional research methods rely on individual knowledge literacy to draw conclusions,which belong to the scope of qualitative research.However,it is now possible to use a quantitative approach to study the language style of the author’s work,and thus,a new discipline,measurement style,has also emerged.This method not only opens up new ideas for language research,but also innovates the research methods.It also makes the conclusions of language research supported by data and embarks on a scientific road.Both Yan Lianke and Liu Zhenyun are writers of Henanese who are well-known in the current literary world.Their origins,growth experiences and literary creations have many similarities.At present,there are some problems in the research on the two people.The research on the works and creations of the two people is still mainly based on the study of literature and literature,although there are a small number of studies from the perspective of linguistics.However,its research methods still use traditional introspective research methods,and the research of individual master thesis will be supplemented by a small amount of simple frequency statistics.Second,the scale of the research is small,mostly the analysis of the language style of a single work,or a general statement of the language style of a few works.Third,there are few comparative studies on the two,and most of them use the two as representatives of a certain genre to analyze the overall situation of a certain genre.This article will mainly use a method combining statistics and linguistics,the method of measurement style,to compare the language styles of the two writers.The main research contents and results of this paper are as follows:First,establish a corpus of writers’ works.According to the theme of the research,in the works of the two writers,the corpus is similar,and the corpus with similar themes is used to build a corpus.According to this,12 novels(6 each)have been established to establish two corpora,with a scale of more than 1 million words(more than 50 each).Wan).And the selected corpus is processed,processed,proofreaded,and the manual labeling of dialect words and proverbs to ensure the quality of the corpus,and lay a good foundation for the later research on the method of corpus and statistical methods.Second,look for language features,identify differences and verify them.In this part,through the summarization of previous research results and their own trial and error,on the one hand,a more appropriate statistical method for determining the difference characteristics is obtained;on the other hand,some writers who have similarities are also summarized.Some linguistic features are generally applicable when the language style is comparatively studied.These linguistic features include the punctuation marks used in the works,the proportion of various real words and virtual words in the text.Thirdly,according to the obtained distinctive linguistic features,the author analyzes the measurement stylistics of the works of Yan Lianke and Liu Zhenyun.Through these analyses,it provides the conclusions that have been subjectively obtained through traditional research methods.Data support verified some of these conclusions.At the same time,it not only supplements the existing conclusions but also questions some existing conclusions. |
