Research On Li Shenyan's "Selected Works"

WenXuan,edited by Xiao Tong,as a collection of classics,has been widely spread and has remained fresh for a long time.Li Shan s WenXuan note works which widely quoted and excellent,opened up the prosperity and development of the study of WenXuan,in the Tang dynasty.Although there were ups and downs in the study of WenXuan in the Song and Ming dynasties,it has been passed on and passed on.To the late Qing dynasty,puxue flourished,the study of WenXuan also been revived the heyday.Yangzhou has always been the research center of WenXuan.Li shenyan was a famous scholar in Yangzhou in the late Qing dynasty and the early republic of China.He consciously puts his academic interest and life in the research of WenXuan.He is the author of the "five books about the study of WenXuan" and other research results of WenXuan.Li Shenyan pursues the heroes of Yangzhou school.Academically,he attaches great importance to textual research,exegesis and emendation.In literary creation,he advocates the Han and Wei dynasties' prose with knowledge,dual and rhyme.The research of WenXuan can integrate two aspects and brings innovations.Therefore,Li Shenyan pays equal attention to both academic interpretation and literary exploration in the study of WenXuan.Li Shenyan's textual criticism of WenXuan is the literary continuation of the Yangzhou School's textual research and exegesis.His research contents proofread the textual examinations,explain the meaning,textual research on etymology and correction of old notes.In terms of methods,he flexibly applies many basic methods of textual criticism and collation,makes good use of the form of citation and borrowing the views of previous sages,seeks truth from facts.This study improves the system of annotation in WenXuan,fully shows the research characteristics of Yangzhou school of innovation and accommodation.Although occasional lapses,but in spite of his flaws.It promotes the development of the textual criticism of WenXuan.Out of the research on the acceptance of WenXuan,Li shenyan first puts forward the concept of "proof WenXuan" which has the clear category division and the system choice principle.Although there are also shortcomings and limitations,but it contains the concept of transmitting resemblance which can restore the real appearance of the acceptance of WenXuan,probe into the origin of later poetry and study its creation norms.In addition,Li Shenyan's research on Li Shan's annotated examples has made a combination of arrangement,interpretation and application,which has been improved on the basis of previous studies.He uses WenXuan to interpret other books,involving interpretation,collation and correction,which expands the function of the literature in WenXuan.It is reasonable and fair to evaluate the contents of WenXuan,which can be used as a reference for future study.The study of WenXuan by Li Shenyan is Outstanding,which has the characteristics of rich content and appropriate style.It extensively uses citation,and takes WenXuan as the center to reflect the inheritance and reform of classic works.In his study of WenXuan,the textual research of literature contains the exploration of literature development.These are all features of his study of WenXuan.At the time of the academic reform in the late Qing dynasty and the early republic of China,Li shenyan's approach to study and his achievements in WenXuan are is a good example of learning from the past.his study of WenXuan not only inherited the content and method of the study of WenXuan in the Qing dynasty,but also had significant characteristics of reality.It is also helpful for the scholars of modern traditional school to summarize and develop the traditional study of WenXuan,and coincides with the approach of the scholars of the modern transformation school,which explore the development of literature through WenXuan.Therefore,Li Shenyan's study of WenXuan is of great significance in learning to keep the right path and making new progress.
