| With the development of network technology,selfie has become a daily behavior of people’s life,and selfie editing as a kind of selfie activities will have a certain impact on the individual’s body and mind.In order to investigate the impact of selfie editing on college students’ self-esteem,this study based on the previous research,compiled the "Selfie Editing" questionnaire and the "Selfie Editing Online Social Support" questionnaire to understand the situation of college students’ selfie editing and its influence on self-esteem.This study can be divided into three studies:Study 1 and Study 2 compiled the"Selfie Editing" questionnaire and the "Selfie Editing Online Social Support"questionnaire,and localized revision validity test of the questionnaire.Study 3 uses"Selfie Editing","Selfie Editing Online Social Support","The Positive Affect Schedule" and "The Self-Esteem Scale" as measurement tools to survey 1085 college students in Jiangsu,Hunan,Henan and other places to research the selfie editing,online social support,positive emotion levels and self-esteem situation of college students.In addition,the study also research online social support and positive emotion have a mediator effect between selfie editing and self-esteem.Conclusions:(1)The development of selfie editing questionnaire includes 3 dimensions and 24 items with good reliability and validity.It can be used as a measurement questionnaire for the selfie editing.(2)The development of the selfie editing online social support questionnaire contains 3 dimensions and 15 projects with good reliability and validity.It can be used as a measurement questionnaire for online social support of the selfie.(3)In the relevant analysis,there are significant correlations between selfie editing,selfie editing online social support,positive emotion,and self-esteem.(4)In the difference analysis,girls are more editorial in the own selfie editing and group selfie editing dimensions than boys,but the difference between couples’selfie editing is not significant.The liberal arts are more editorial than the science in the three dimensions of selfie editing.(5)The mediation effect test results show that the online social support and positive emotion play a intermediary role between selfie editing and self-esteem,that is,selfie editing can directly predict the individual self-esteem,and can also have an impact on self-esteem through online social support and positive emotion. |
