Research On The Speech Act Of President Xi Jinping's Diplomatic Speech

Diplomatic speech refers to a language communication activity in which a national leader expresses opinions and opinions on behalf of a country on a certain topic of international relations,expresses emotions,and conducts propaganda.In conducting diplomatic speeches,speakers often implement a series of different speech acts to achieve the purpose of making statements,making opinions,making promises,expressing emotions,and declaring positions.Based on the analysis of 87 diplomatic speeches by President Xi Jinping,this paper studies the characteristics,distribution and linguistic expressions of speech acts of President Xi Jinping's diplomatic speech from the perspective of speech act theory,and summarizes the use of speech acts by President Xi Jinping's diplomatic speech.It is hoped that it will provide some guidance and help for the choice of speech acts in diplomatic speeches.This article is divided into five chapters.Firstly,it introduces the reasons for choosing the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the status quo of the research,the source of the corpus and the research methods.Secondly,it discusses the classification of speech acts,analyzes the types of speech acts of President Xi Jinping's diplomatic speech,and summarizes Xi Jinping.The characteristics of the speech act distribution of the president's diplomatic speech;subsequently,based on the analysis of 4,587 speech acts performed by President Xi Jinping's diplomatic speech,the performance of 25 small class speech acts in the class,instruction class,commitment class,expression class,and declaration class respectively The method is summarized.Then,it summarizes the characteristics of speech act segmentation and the characteristics of discourse combination in President Xi Jinping's diplomatic speech,and summarizes the combination law of speech act in President Xi Jinping's diplomatic speech.Finally,the paper summarizes the full text and puts forward suggestions.Point out the shortcomings and research limitations of this paper.
