Mobile phone addiction is a new research field after Internet addiction.With the improvement of mobile phone functions,there are more and more "phubbing people" in life,study and work.Mobile phones bring various adverse effects while facilitating people.As the main group of future social construction,whether college students can reasonably use mobile phones plays an extremely important role.At the same time,with the rapid development of society,the society has higher and higher requirements on college students,the pressure of college students also increases.(1)This study investigated the stress,mobile phone addiction,social anxiety and social support of 547 college students from four universities in guangdong province by means of questionnaire.On the one hand,students' stress,mobile phone addiction,social anxiety and social support should be understood.On the other hand,it explores the relationship between college students' stress and mobile phone addiction,and explores the mechanism of social anxiety and social support in the relationship between them.The results of this study are as follows:(2)The stress level of college students is below the average level,and the number of high stress group with negative life events is the largest.The total score of stress and personal disturbance of male students were significantly higher than that of female students.Engineering students are significantly higher than liberal arts students and science students in the dimensions of total pressure and study disturbance.College students in rural areas have significantly higher stress scores and dimensions than those in cities and towns.(3)College students' mobile phone addiction is generally on the low level and the score of withdrawal symptoms is the highest.Female students were significantly higher than male students in the dimension of withdrawal symptoms and mood change.The mobile phone addiction of college students with only child was significantly higher than that of non-only child.Undergraduates were significantly higher than junior college students in the dimension of withdrawal symptoms.The humanities students were significantly higher than the science students in both the total score of mobile phone addiction and the dimension of withdrawal symptoms,and the humanities students were significantly higher than the engineering students in the dimension of highlighting behavior.(4)College students' social anxiety is generally above the average level.Only childrenare significantly more likely to suffer from social distress than non-only children.(5)The social support of college students is relatively good,but the development of each dimension is uneven,with the highest subjective support dimension and the lowest objective support dimension.Female students score significantly higher than male students in social support and all dimensions.(6)There were significant pairwise correlations among stress,mobile phone addiction,social anxiety and social support among college students.Stress has significant positive predictive power for mobile phone addiction and social anxiety.Social anxiety has significant positive predictive power for mobile phone addiction.(7)Social anxiety plays a mediating role in college students' stress and mobile phone addiction.(8)Social support has moderating effects on college students' social anxiety and mobile phone addiction.
