Tang poetry is an important part of Chinese culture and a representative of classical Chinese poetry.It contains not only linguistic knowledge of phonetics,vocabulary and grammar,but also profound cultural connotation of China.This characteristic of Tang poetry is consistent with the aim of spreading linguistic knowledge and Chinese culture in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Therefore,it is of great significance to implement Tang poetry lessons in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.As Tang poetry is rich in content and has a wide range of subjects,this paper synthetically designs homesickness poems teaching contents suitable for foreign students by referring to eight kinds of ancient poems teaching materials commonly used in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,Chinese teaching materials in primary schools and extracurricular reading materials in China.Combining the characteristics of harmonious rhythm,refined words and profound culture of Tang poetry,this paper discusses how to design teaching from four aspects: phonology,vocabulary,poetry and culture.On the basis of drawing lessons from the teaching methods of Tang poetry and combining the abstract characteristics of homesickness poetry,it advocates situational teaching methods.Teachers independently create situations related to teaching content according to needs and actual situations.It includes reading aloud,multimedia use,activities,language dialogues,to create situations and so on.Finally,taking Jing Ye Si as an example,the teaching plan of homesickness poems is designed by using the above analysis and teaching methods.The first chapter of the paper introduces the research purpose and significance of teaching Tang poetry as a foreign language and the current situation of research in China.The second chapter describes the relevant teaching theories.Chapter three introduces the importance and necessity of Tang Poetry teaching for foreign students,discussing the significance of Tang Poetry from the aspects of language skills and cultural connotation,and expounds the necessity of teaching Tang poetry by investigating the cognitive situation of middle and senior foreign students.Chapter four chooses the teaching contents of homesickness poems according to the existing teaching materials of ancient Chinese poems for foreigners,Chinese textbooks for primary schools and extracurricular reading materials.The fifth chapter is the analysis of the teaching design of homesickness poems,taking Li Bai's Quiet Night Thought as an example,to design the teaching plan of homesickness poems.The conclusion summarizes the paper and illustrates the innovations and shortcomings of the paper.
