Research On The Time Category Of Oroqen Language

Oroqen language belongs to the Manchu Tungusic branch of Altaic family.As an adhesive language,Oroqen language expresses grammatical meaning through rich morphological changes.On the basis of combing the previous research results,this paper collates and analyzes the corpus obtained from the field survey,and holds that Elunchun is a language with time category.The first part defines the concept of time system and time category.The second part sums up the concrete language forms of time expression in Oroqen language.Focusing on these language forms and their corresponding time meanings,it mainly studies the lexical means and grammatical means of time expression in Oroqen language.In terms of lexical means,it analyzes the lexical forms and their time meanings of expressing subjective time and objective time.In terms of grammatical means,on the one hand,it combines time category and type category.On the other hand it studies the relative time of the function words such as the adverbial form and the hypotactic form.The third part summarizes the tendency of time expression in Oroqen language,which is mainly embodied in the tendency of time expression word order and the tendency of indicating time first using under the cognitive perspective of background focus.
