This report on the practice of English-Chinese translation selected Nigel Halpern's chapter 15 of the book The Study of Air Transport from the Perspective of Tourism Science as a material. This chapter systemically introduces the partnerships between tourism destination stakeholders and the air transport sector and their impact on aviation tourism. The translation practice report aims to study the translation strategies of tourism management texts by analyzing the cases in translation.First of all,the translator analyzed fuzzy languages in the text and studied their translation strategies, such as “omission”.Secondly,a large number of inanimate subject sentences appears in the text, and the translator clarified its translation strategy according to the characteristics of the inanimate subject sentences;finally,as for the loose sentences, the translator proposes methods of “order” and “inversion” to solve this problem. The translator hopes that through this translation practice,we can draw on the latest foreign research results on the establishment of marketing partnerships and funding partnerships between the air transport sector and tourist destination stakeholders to promote the development of the domestic aviation tourism industry.
