Research On New Words In "Bridge—Intermediate Practical Chinese Course" (Third Edition)

Based on the research of the new words in the Bridge-A Practical Intermediate Chinese Course(Third Edition),this paper studies the number of new words,the grade of new words,the repetition rate of new words and the interpretation of new words.It is found that the total number of new words in this set of textbooks does not meet the requirements of the medium stage students in the syllabus of the Chinese Language Major for Foreign Students in Colleges and Universities(Long-term Study).In English interpretation,although the content of interpretation is more comprehensive,but some part of the part-time words are not marked according to the content of the text,the idiom part is not marked accordingly.At the same time,it is necessary to increase the number of new words in the middle stage.The number of words and the average number of new words should be controlled in a certain range.It is hoped that this paper can provide some suggestions for the future revision of teaching materials,and also provide reference for the research of relevant teaching materials.
