| With the development and progress of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the teaching of cultural words,as a non-negligible part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language has attracted more and more attention.Cultural words,with their distinctive national characteristics and rich national cultural connotations,have a direct impact on the second language learners’ Chinese expression and cultural understanding.As the main basis and important material of teaching and learning,the collection and arrangement of cultural words in textbooks cannot be ignored.Taking the textbook New Practical Chinese Textbook as an example,this paper investigates and studies the cultural words and phrases in the textbook,and puts forward suggestions for further improvement and optimization,so as to help learners learn Chinese cultural words,understand Chinese culture and improve their intercultural communication competence.This paper mainly expands from the following parts:The first chapter is the introduction,mainly from the reasons of the topic,research significance,cultural words related theories,cultural words in the textbook compilation principles,the object of this study and the main methods of several aspects of the review.The second chapter makes a statistical investigation on the collection of cultural words in the textbook New Practical Chinese Textbook.The number and types of cultural words in the textbook are counted and compared with the Outline of Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Chinese Character Grading.To analyze whether there are problems in the inclusion of cultural words in the textbook and whether it is consistent with the inclusion of cultural words in the Outline of Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Chinese Character Grading.The third chapter makes a statistical analysis of the arrangement of cultural words in the textbook New Practical Chinese Textbook.This paper mainly makes statistics on the position and recurrence of cultural words in the textbook and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of different positions of cultural words and whether the recurrence frequency can meet the learners’ needs for learning cultural words.The fourth chapter summarizes the characteristics and shortcomings of the compilation of cultural words in the textbook New Practical Chinese Textbook.This paper mainly summarizes the characteristics of the selection of cultural words in textbooks and points out the shortcomings of the selection of cultural words in textbooks.The fifth chapter puts forward some suggestions on the compilation and selection of cultural words in the textbook New Practical Chinese Textbook.In view of the problems in the collection and arrangement of cultural words in the textbook summarized above,this paper puts forward some suggestions for improvement in order to promote the further optimization of the textbook.The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes the statistics and analysis of the whole text. |
