A Preliminary Study Of The Modal Meaning Of Ordos Dialect

This paper will apply the concepts and theories of semantics to expounds the characteristics of the modal significance of Ordos dialect.So as to summarize the grammatical methods expressing modal meaning in Ordos dialect.It is important to understand the meaning of modality in Mongolian dialect.This paper composed of an introduction,four chapters of main text,a conclusion,references,semester published papers,and thanks words.The introduction part explains the research object,research purpose and significance,research overview,research method,research content,corpus source,opinions of future research etc.The first chapter is the "Objective Modal Meaning",which summarizes the previous research achievement,redefines the definition,characteristics and definition criteria of Mongolian modality,divided new categories.This chapter mainly introduces the "Objective Modality Significance",which subdivided the four subsections of factual modality,obligatory modality,functional modality,and estimated modality,and analyzed and demonstrate with examples of Ordos dialect sentences.The second chapter is the "Subjective Modality Meaning ",which subdivides the basic modality,tendency modality,evaluation modality,and uses Ordos dialect sentence examples for analysis and demonstration.The third chapter is "the meaning and application of modal words in Ordos dialect",which explores and researches the modal words,modal verbs,modal adverbs,modal mood words,and modal interjection in the Ordos dialect.The fourth chapter is the method of expressing the modal meaning of Ordos dialect.There are lexical,syntactic,and vocabulary forms;and these methods are explained with example of Ordos dialect.The conclusion part summarizes the expression methods of various modal meaning in Ordos dialect and question in future studies.
