As one of the most important ways of modern mass media,movies have outstanding public characteristics and bear the social responsibility of paying attention to public life,enlightening citizens,reflecting and constructing public values.However,in the current society dominated by consumerist culture,the entertainment and capital of movies influence and influence the positions and postures of many movie creators.In this situation,with a sense of mission and public sentiment of an intellectual,Jia Zhangke actively intervenes in public life through movies and influences the public sphere of society,and uses poetic justice in the image world to lead people to reflect and promote the further improvement of social public values.Inspired by Martha C.Nussbaum's book:Poetic Justice:Literary Imagination and Public Life,this paper uses the theoretical perspective of film intervention in public life to make an in-depth study of Jia Zhangke's films.This thesis is divided into five parts:The first part analyzes the possibility of constructing poetic justice in the practice of literature and art in public life.Define the concept of “pubic life” and “poetic justice”theory,explain how literary and artistic works intervenes in public life from two aspects:the relationship between public life and literature,and how to construct a kind of poetic justice that can influence social public values in the practice of intervening in public life.The second part analyzes Jia Zhangke's sense of "fate" and public sentiment.Combining the historical background and artistic experience of Jia Zhangke's life,Jia Zhangke can be deeply immersed in the story of Fenyang County,his hometown.This kind of immersion makes it possible for him to understand and grasp Chinese reality more deeply,thus taking Fenyang County as the epitome of contemporary China To observe China's destiny with the story of Fenyang,this transcendent posture enabled him to achieve a positive focus on the public life of Chinese society.In this process,Jia Zhangke and the publicity of his films have been recognized and affirmed by the world.He has grown from a literary youth to a representative of the National People's Congress.Using film as a medium,he has participated in discussions and speeches on public issues such as politics and society.Demonstrate the public sentiment that intellectuals should have.The third part analyzes how Jia Zhangke's films are involved in public life.First of all,he continued to pay attention to the social and public life,and constructed the
