In teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the arrangement of meanings is one of the important contents of teaching materials.It is not only related to whether second language learners can achieve the maximum acquisition effect,but also provides a strong guarantee for Chinese learners to maintain long-term interest in learning.Therefore,the scientific and reasonable arrangement of meanings is particularly important.In this paper,the polysemous adverb "hai",which is frequently used in the mother tongue,is selected as the research object,and the comprehensive teaching material,oral teaching material and listening teaching material in the textbook Developing Chinese,"hai" are used as the research carrier.In addition,in terms of theoretical reference,the author mainly selects the grammaticalization research achievements of Gao Shunquan on the polysemous adverb "hai",and combines the theory with the research object and research carrier.Our aim is to find out the meaning items that conform to the cognitive order and the order of citation arrangement,and finally put forward some reasonable Suggestions for the arrangement of the textbook of developing Chinese.The author makes a detailed statistical analysis of the meanings and cited examples of the polysemous adverb "hai" in the comprehensive,oral and listening textbook of Developing Chinese,and finds the following two main problems.First,the meanings of the three types of textbooks and the order of the setting of cited examples are inconsistent,which does not conform to the order of acquisition proposed by Gao Shunquan(2012).Second,according to the different situations of the subjective and objective meaning of the polysemous adverb "hai" in the practical application,we find that the three kinds of teaching materials have not obvious emphases,which is not consistent with the actual application situation found by Gao Shunquan(2012).With the help of the interlanguage corpus,the corpus of TV dramas and the actual arrangement of the textbook Developing Chinese,the author puts forward the following Suggestions on the arrangement of the polysemous adverb "hai" in the textbook:1.In terms of the sequence of meanings of the polysemous adverb "hai",the author suggests that the three textbooks should follow the acquisition order proposed by Gao Shunquan(2012).2.In terms of the order of the example setting of the polysemy adverb "also",the author suggests that the order of acquisition proposed by Gao Shunquan(2012)should also be followed.3.In terms of the emphasis of the teaching material on the polysemous adverb "hai",the author suggests that on the basis of following the teaching syllabus and the acquisition order of Gao Shunquan(2012),the proportion of corpus involving the polysemous adverb "hai" in the three teaching materials should be adjusted appropriately.That is to make reasonable adjustment to the proportion of the objective citation and the subjective citation in the comprehensive teaching material to highlight the comprehensive characteristics.Appropriately increase the "hai" of the subjective meaning in the spoken language teaching material to adjust the case to highlight the features of the function;Increase the "hai" of the subjective meaning of the teaching materials,highlighting the characteristics of communication.The above adjustment is to serve the actual needs of language as a communicative tool.The above Suggestions in this paper aim to provide reference for the arrangement of the polysemous adverb "hai" in the foreign Chinese textbooks,so that Chinese learners can better acquire and output.At the same time,for the polysemous adverb "hai" in part of the greater difficulty of the meaning of the citation,is not set? Less Settings? How exactly? This is not mentioned in this paper,which needs further study.
