Although the new curriculum standards have put forward new requirements for the cultivation of English Key Competencies,and the new evaluation system of college entrance examination has set new goals for senior high school English teaching.However,the English traditional teaching in senior high school is generally lacking pertinence,and the teaching method is more or less dogmatic.Moreover,the interaction between teachers and students is not good,either.The class evaluation is poor and the system is not systematic enough.Therefore,the English teaching in high school is in urgent need of reform and innovation.In this project,it is essential to transform and explore the English teaching strategies.This paper is devoted to the practical application of "guiding,learning,researching and practicing" in high school English classroom based on the research results of situational teaching strategies,exploring teaching strategies and group cooperation strategies-that is,it is based on the teaching strategy reform of "guiding,learning,researching and practicing" in English class of L Senior High School in S County,taking the students of senior one and two as the research objects,and aiming at the key points and difficulties in the implementation of the "guiding,learning,researching and practicing",a systematic and standardized implementation plan of 12 steps in four stages has been formulated.Through the questionnaire survey,the practical information of teachers and students in teaching and learning were collected comprehensively,and in-depth interviews were conducted on teachers and students respectively on the complex issues.On the basis of the primary data,this paper makes an attribution analysis of the problems and difficulties in the implementation of "guiding,learning,researching and practicing" in English class of L Senior High School in S County,and puts forward some suggestions on how to improve and perfect the teaching strategy of "guiding,learning,researching and practicing” in high school English class.
