In the context of the increasingly acute tension between human beings and the natural environment, this paper introduces the philosophical views of the ecological philosopher Timothy Morton(hereinafter referred to as Morton).Through his curatorial practice in the field of art and the influence of his theory on artworks, this paper discusses the influence of ecology on the fields of humanities and art,as well as the possibility of leading a focus on and having an impact on the relationship between man and nature from the perspective of philosophy and art.In this paper, the relationship of interaction and collaboration between ecology, philosophy, and art is called "symbiosis".On the one hand, this paper is a summary of one of the core concepts in Morton's theory. On the other hand,it is an attempt to promote the cooperation among various disciplines and fields, and to unfold larger issues through the mutual penetration of ideas, and to generate new ideas and practical expectations. In a detailed introduction and discussion of Morton's theory, through studying Morton's theoretical research on “hyperobject” and its related environment, human society, and the practical problems, this paper discusses a core concept “anti-anthropocentrism” with the background of philosophical movement Timothy Morten participated ”object-oriented ontology”.Furthermore,in the curatorial practice of Morton and the artistic works of many artists, the paper also interprets and analyses the artistic works which are also conducted around the two concepts.
