Talking About The Theoretical Evolution And Curatorial Practice Of The "museum Without Walls" From The Perspective Of 5G Technology

This article starts with the shortcomings and limitations of museum collection and display methods in the middle of the 20 th century,and draws on the concept of Museum Without Walls,based on this proposed by André Malraux,and systematically sorts out its theoretical connotation.Subsequently,it focuses on how 5G technology redefines the theoretical connotation of Museum Without Walls and the new form of curatorial practice based on 5G technology.It also focuses on the analysis of new technologies in the 21 st century: IoT,Big Data,XR(including VR,AR,XR)and other new technologies that rely on 5G's high transmission rate and low latency performance changing the meaning of Museum Without Walls,mainly from three aspects: the deformation of artworks,the changing role of audiences and changes of display space and form.Finally,based on the conclusions of the literature research,case studies,and investigation methods adopted in the previous two chapters,the theoretical deduction of the art ecology in the Post-5G Era,which has not yet arrived.It mainly draws inferences from the four parts of art creation,art display,art acceptance and art demand,and depicts the transformative post-5G era "Unbounded Museum" form.When the technology in the post 5G era can achieve ultra-low latency,high-precision positioning,ultra-high transmission rate,ultra-high bandwidth,and support platforms for different application scenarios,the imaging effect of "Digital Objects" will be as realistic as real objects.The "wall",the border,will be completely broken.In the future,the audience may independently build a museum for themselves.The exhibition curating is programmed and uploaded to the cloud.Perhaps only a finger can be used to realize the museum that everyone imagines,and it can also be stored in the network cloud system.For more people to browse and watch,realize a personal art museum that can be shared on social media platform.The barriers of the art museum are truly broken,and everyone can realize their ideal way of collecting and viewing exhibitions.
