“Xiehouyu” is a kind of idiom.It has a long history.It is a language form created by the masses and used in life.It originates from people's life,serves the society,frequently uses in the people's social life,enduring for a long time.Xiehouyu is generally composed of two parts.The first half is the figurative metaphor,like the riddle,and the latter half is the explanation.It shows that it is very natural and appropriate as a riddle.This article starts with the definition,categories and characteristics of the Xiehouyu,as well as the investigation of the distribution of Xiehouyu in the textbook and the questionnaire survey to understand the situation of the study of the allegorical sayings by the foreign students,and puts forward their own views on the problems found.In the introduction part,purpose and significanceare introduced.Then,the research methods are described,mainly using literature retrieval and investigation.Finally,it introduces the innovation and deficiency of this paper.The first chapter is a brief introduction of Xiehouyu,which mainly introduces the definition of Xiehouyu,the category of Xiehouyu,the characteristics of Xiehouyu and gives an example to illustrate.Then it analyzes the Chinese culture contained in Xiehouyu,and has a whole understanding of Xiehouyu.The second chapter analyzes the situation of learning Xiehouyu from two aspects: one is to investigate the distribution of Xiehouyu in some teaching materials of Chinese language undergraduate major of International Exchange College;the other is to carry out a questionnaire survey on the learning content of Xiehouyu for Korean students of middle and senior Chinese level of International Exchange College,and analyze the survey feedback in detail,In addition,the author puts forward the author's point of view for the problems found,and clarifies the significance of learning Xiehouyu for foreign students and points for attention when using Xiehouyu for foreign students.It mainly introduces the motivation and purpose of the research,as well as the research methods.The third chapter puts forward the teaching strategies that can be applied by middle and senior Korean students in order to achieve success in learning and using Xiehouyu,and also points out the points that should be paid attention to when using Xiehouyu and the significance of learning Xiehouyu.The fourth chapter puts forward the principles and plans for the teaching of Xiehouyu,as well as suggestions for compiling textbooks and dictionaries of Xiehouyu.In the conclusion part,the whole content is reorganized and the theme of this paper is clarified.
