| Popular culture,as a specific cultural form,has been controversial since its birth,and its focus is on its entertainment.Unlike other cultural forms,the popularity of popular culture is largely because it captures and caters to the entertainment of the masses,which has become the target of many elite cultural critics for criticizing popular culture.Nowadays,the media has gradually changed from traditional TV and broadcast media to online media.What kind of entertainment and the entertainment methods brought by popular culture have caused people's attention and reflection.Entertainment is both positive and negative.In modern society,negative entertainment is increasingly occupying the space for mass leisure and recreation,which has a negative impact on both individuals and society.Returning popular culture to rationality and health is one of the urgent tasks of current cultural construction.This article discusses and analyzes the phenomenon of pan-entertainment of popular culture from four parts.The first chapter first determines the basic concepts of popular culture,entertainment and pan-entertainment,and points out that the emergence of popular culture is closely related to the transformation of traditional agricultural society to modern industrial society,which is essentially a cultural phenomenon in a special historical period.Pan-entertainment refers to the pursuit of vulgar happiness.The pan-entertainment of popular culture means that the entertainment function of culture deviates from its normal track,and it continuously meets and stimulates people's almost animal instinctual sensory desires.The second chapter analyzes the phenomenon of pan-entertainment of popular culture,including the performance and characteristics of pan-entertainment,the impact of pan-entertainment,and the roots of pan-entertainment.Pan-entertainment as a whole is characterized by homogeneity,vulgarization and utilitarianism.The negative impact of pan-entertainment is multifaceted.For individuals,pan-entertainment materializes people's spiritual needs and weakens their subjectivity.For society,pan-entertainment impacts and challenges mainstream values and creates cultural industries False prosperity.The paradox of market economy,the tendency of consumerism,and the psychology of mass entertainment have spawned pan-entertainment of mass culture from three levels of reality,thought,and psychology.The third chapter mainly examines the relevant theories about the pan-entertainment of popular culture.Entertainment is no longer simply a question of happiness and unhappiness,but an issue related to philosophy and ideology.These theories give us so many inspirations,we need to criticize and reflect on the phenomenon of pan-entertainment of popular culture from a more comprehensive and dialectical perspective.The fourth chapter discusses how to eliminate the phenomenon of pan-entertainment of popular culture and promote the return the value of popular culture.Mass culture,as a cultural form of modern society,is closely related to technology and capital.It is necessary to rationally guide the relationship between capital and culture,properly guide mass consumption concepts,and deepen cultural system reform,so that the masses culture and elite culture can perform their respective roles in the integration and symbiosis,and jointly promote the development and progress of social and cultural life. |
