Prisons are important areas for imprisoning prisoners,responsible for education and rehabilitation of prisoners.A sound management is of particular significance for maintaining social harmony and stability.At present,Prison system in our country generally adopts a bureaucratic management model,which has many disadvantages like over-staffing and overlapping organization,unclear responsibilities,low-level information transmitting,low-efficiency management and a lack of vitality,thus already seriously lagging behind the time.It is a inevitable question to explore new prison management model and develop prison police resource.N Women Prison is an epitome of current prison system,thus also has a necessity to solve the above disadvantages.Both organization flattening theory and human resource development are human-oriented,with identical pursuits in terms of values and objectivity.Therefore,it is necessary and practical to learn from the above theories for police human resource development.Taking N Women Prison as an example,the article makes some discussions.The first part is the introduction of the article which contains reasons for the topic,research significance,situations both home and abroad,and methodologies of the article.The second part first presents the basic situation and opinions of organization flattening theory and then introduces the significance of human resource management.Then based on this,a conclusion is drawn that it is necessary and practical to adopt organization flattening theory in N Women Prison.The third part carries out analysis over the current situation of N Women Prison and finds questions and the related reasons.The fourth part presents discussions over the application of organization flattening theory by N Women Prison,and makes detailed explorations in terms of organization structure,management model,talents building and infrastructure construction.Detailed suggestions are offered.The fifth part concludes the opinions of the whole article,innovative points,shortcomings,and prospects.
