Mass Media And Rural Community Collective Memory Research

The mass media is a field of study has not yet been fully research on rural community collective memory effect,in recent years,communication scholars began to pay more attention to the research on it has become a hot issue in the study of collective memory.Popular in the academia to emerge,construction mechanism of mass media as a new memory media change the collective memory.This paper starts from the concept of collective memory,with the rural community as the research object,adopt qualitative research interviews,questionnaire survey method supplemented by the investigation of mass media to change,construction of rural community collective memory mode.Mass media dominant in rural daily life place makes it play a key role in the maintenance and the construction of rural community collective memory.To achieve collective memory to spread as the main way,the mass media through the shape of the collective memory of the integration of rural community culture,and the integration of rural society.This thesis consists of six chapters: the first chapter introduces the research origin and significance,analyzes the research object: mass media and rural community collective memory,defines some important the concept,determine the research methods;the second chapter through the literature review of the domestic and abroad research results on collective memory,understand the general context,and the current research status of their own thinking;The third chapter introduces the basic situation of catalyst and the village of K Y County in the town of F,describes the location of meaning;fourth chapter and the fifth chapter is the core chapters of this thesis,trying to use the summary about memory Assmann two functions: storage and reconstruction of the theory,starting from the Perspective of communication,the mass media in the construction of the rural community collective memory;the sixth chapter wrote the mass media shape path plastic rural community collective memory.Finally the conclusion and discussion of this dissertation makes a carding and summary.The conclusion is that the mass media in the rural community is not only a will or purpose,but has become a fresh way of life,it has penetrated into the construction of rural community collective memory,storage,production,maintenance,plays an important role during the construction of rural community collective memory through the mass media.The construction of collective memory is an organism,is the rural community’s world view,values,the epitome of culture.
