Party Identity: A Way To Increase National Identity With Chinese Characteristics

National Identity has always been a hot topic in academic circles.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),the new leadership,led by general secretary Xi Jinping,has launched the largest anti-corruption campaign in recent years.The wide range,high efficiency and abundance of achievements of this round of inspection have greatly promoted the Chinese party's identity.From a historical point of view,since the founding of the CPC,in the long-term political practice,several generations of Chinese have habitually linked the political concepts of the CPC with China and socialism,believing that the CPC is closely linked with the country.Due to the particularity of the Chinese political party system and the consistency of fundamental interests of the Chinese Communist Party and all democratic parties,the majority of Chinese people's political party identity are often fixed and uniformed.History and reality have brought about the close relationship between Chinese party identity and national identity.Therefore,relying on the strengthening of party identity to enhance the national identity of Chinese people has become a viable path.
