Since the general election in Taiwan in 2016,the political conflicts that have always existed on the island have finally entered a period of intense enthusiasm.In particular,since the arrival of the DPP Tsai Ing-wen,not only the opposition parties has been verbally expelled,but also social conflicts and hostilities have intensified.and there is no signal of declining tendency till now.There are many reasons why contemporary Taiwan's social-political conflicts and hostile phenomena continue to form a normal state: parties that are left behind in the era of authoritarianism occupy a large proportion,with the “green camp” led by the Democratic Progressive Party and the “pan-blue camp” headed by the Kuomintang.On the basis of being a major competitive party,in order to obtain limited political resources,it expanded its ideology,policy orientation,cross-strait relations,and other aspects,artificially increased the situation of party competition and conflict;since the Second World War after the KMT received The problem of “provinciality” and “ethnic group” within Taiwan's gradually emerging geographical range has now been used by the DPP's ulterior motives to become a bargaining chip for opponents,and has gradually formed a clear ethnic opposition and political divide.It is also a cross-strait separatism.The main influencing factors;the conflicting political culture determined by the tortuous development history not only fundamentally affects the conflicting attributes of party politics,but also affects the political participation of Taiwanese citizens.These factors are the major problems that have caused political chaos and political conflicts in Taiwan region today,and they are the key factors constraining the consolidation and maturation of Taiwan's democratic system in the future.
