Analysis Of The Role Of Enterprises In Neighboring Avoidance Governance

The year 2018 is an extremely extraordinary year for China.The new era background and social development stage show that China is currently in a new era of rapid development.The new era calls for responsibility and accountability,which demand of new actions.It does not matter whether the entity is the government,the enterprise or the individual,they all should clearly define their rights and obligations and work hard to build a prosperous,strong,democratic,civilized,harmonious and beautiful New China.In the process of rapid transformation in the face of globalization,marketization,and urbanization,energy resources are shrinking,and citizens' awareness of their rights is increasingly awakened,placing higher demands on the environment and quality of life.With the expansion of cities and the increase of population,drastic social changes have made people's demand for social public services higher and higher.Previous public infrastructure has been unable to meet people's needs.In order to meet the ever-increasing demand of the people,the county and government should continue to build public infrastructure projects.However,due to the inevitable neighboring nature of planning and site selection and construction and operation of newly-built facilities,these objections of the people affected by the project.In the process of the NIMBY event,multiple forces are intertwined.Any mishandling of any aspect of the process may lead to a worse situation,making the whole project into a management dilemma.Companies,as the foundation and the primary force of social and economic development,their business philosophy and production and operation activities have a major impact on the development of the entire society.As a project builder in the NIMBY movement,when undertaking thegovernment's project,whether it is before,during,or after the establishment of the project,the responsibility of the project builder has played a positive role in the governance of the NIMBY movement.Only by making the government,the enterprise,and the residents form a harmonious development relationship can we effectively manage the incidents of the NIMBY.This paper intends to use literature analysis methods,comparative analysis methods,etc.to take corporate social responsibility perspective as the starting point,combining multi-center governance theory,benefit community theory,and corporate social responsibility theory to solve different problems for foreign companies and Chinese companies in the process of advancing governance.This paper strives to find an approach to deal with the status quo,examine the implementation of social responsibility practices,discuss the development trend,and combine the theory of neighboring avoidance governance and social responsibility theories and methods,from the profitability,externality,quasi-public service provision,and the surrounding residents' identitu to the project so as to accurately grasp the role that our company should assume in the process of NIMBY governance.It is of great significance to the phased characteristics,development level and direction of corporate social responsibility in China.Ultimately,it hopes to construct a “government-enterprise-resident”adjacency governance model that is consistent with the characteristics of modern Chinese enterprises and a sustainable corporate social responsibility management system.In order to improve the level of social responsibility management and the ability to NIMBY governance.
