Research On Disaster Relief Problems And Countermeasures Of Xinjiang Red Cross Society

The disasters occurred frequently in our country,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is located in the northwestern frontiers,the disaster is serious,the disaster relief work is very arduous,the government has limited rescue capabilities,disaster relief work must mobilize the participation of social organizations,the organizations of the Red Cross Society are widely distributed,which operating mechanism are perfect,adhering to the "humanitarian,fraternity and dedication" spirit,having distinctive characteristics of the organization,contacting with the masses closely,having high social influence and rich disaster rescue experiences that can compensate for the government's deficiencies effectively and meet the needs of the relief recipients,playing an irreplaceable role in disaster relief work.The Red Cross Society of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has many problems that restrict its function,such as grass-roots organizations function weakened,financing ability is not strong,construction of disaster-relief warehouses is not up to standard,warehousing system is not perfect,the construction of rescue teams lag behind,the aim of this study is to break the obstacles faced by the Red Cross Society in disaster management.In this paper,the Red Cross Society of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region as a research sample,using literature research,case analysis and comparative analysis,which analyzes the main problems and causes about the Red Cross Society disaster relief work in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,corresponding countermeasures are put forward in combination with these problems,the main research contents are as follows:Firstly,this paper expounds the background and theoretical basis of this paper,points out the theoretical and practical significance,innovation and deficiency of the research,and puts forward the advantages of the Red Cross Society disaster relief based on this.Secondly,taking the Red Cross Society of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region as the research object,combining the characteristics of the disaster in Xinjiang,through the analysis of current situation of the development of the Red Cross Society,taking the drill of water supply and public health rescue teams of the autonomous region as an example,taking the work situation of the Red Cross Society about four prefectures in southern Xinjiang and disaster relief work of Yutian earthquake as an example for analysis,this paper summarizes the specific problems of the Red Cross Society disaster relief and analyzes the causes of the problems.Thirdly,this paper summarizes the advanced experience of foreign the Red Cross Society in disaster relief and provides theoretical reference for the development of the Red Cross Society disaster relief in our country.According to the actual situation of Xinjiang Red Cross Society disaster relief,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to improve the relief work of the Red Cross Society,that is:through proactive initiatives,striving for more and greater support,innovative ways and means to promote core business development,which has enriched and developed the Red Cross Society disaster relief theory and provided a useful reference for the disaster relief of Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
