The fairness of education reflects the degree of social fairness.In recent years,China has made remarkable achievements in the development of education,basically achieving nine-year compulsory education,and the educational opportunities.With the satisfaction of educational opportunities,more and more people begin to turn to the pursuit of high-quality resources.As an economic center of the whole country and international metropolis in the world,Shanghai's pursuit of high-quality educational resources is more prevalent.They are well aware of the importance of education in changing the life stratum.However,education is a public product,it is also affected by family background,there is a gap in education among different social strata.Under this background,the problem of compulsory education equity in Shanghai can not be ignored.Because education is the channel to promote the upward mobility of social members,if education loses its fairness,society can not flow normally and reasonably,which threatens the stability and development of society.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the relationship between social stratification and the equity of compulsory education and find a way to promote the equity of compulsory education in Shanghai.The paper begins from the research background and problems,explains the purpose and significance of studying the equity of compulsory education in Shanghai;Chapter 2 defines the concepts involved(social stratification,education equity,compulsory education equity),selects the survey subjects and makes a detailed introduction to the empirical design and implementation process,and finally makes a corresponding analysis and explanation of the survey results,and analyses how social stratification is.Acting on the various stages of compulsory education and affecting its fairness;Chapter III makes a literature review of previous scholars' research on social stratification,educational fairness and social stratification and educational fairness;Chapter IV studies the interactive relationship between social stratification and compulsory education fairness in Shanghai;Part V of the paper analyses social stratification and educational fairness in Shanghai on the basis of previous empirical and theoretical research and analysis.Exists problems in compulsory education,and gives corresponding operational recommendations.
