"Love And Companion": Research On Community Volunteer Service Activities For The Elderly

With the aging of the population,more and more attention has been paid to the elderly service.Old age is the beginning of another phase of life,and most older people still have the enthusiasm,ability and health conditions to reintegrate into society and participate in social activities.In order to live a happy old age,it is necessary for the elderly to participate in society and find new alternative activities.Volunteering is the easiest,most economical and most meaningful way to participate in society.The elderly can get spiritual satisfaction and play an important role in building a harmonious community.Although older people to participate in volunteer service is of great significance,but older people to participate in community volunteer service type single,insufficient development suitable for the elderly to participate in the volunteer service activities,a lot of people have a willingness to participate in volunteer service,but lack of elderly volunteer service activities of the organizers and managers,thus elderly volunteer service activities has not been fully carried out,and lead to insufficient sustainability elderly volunteer service.Based on the basic situation of T community,this paper investigates the current situation of volunteer service activities for the elderly in T community,understands the willingness of the elderly to participate in volunteer service and the problems existing in volunteer service activities for the elderly in the community,and concludes the necessity of organizing volunteer service activities for the elderly.At the same time,with the help of community volunteer service resources for the elderly,the organization and implementation of "love and companionship" community volunteer service activities for the elderly,improve the level of elderly volunteer service,promote the sustainable development of community volunteer service for the elderly,and then provide practical basis for advancing the cause of elderly volunteer service.
