Research On The Participation Of Elderly People In Community Volunteer Services In Changsh

Volunteer service has begun to take shape in my country,and a volunteer service team with community volunteer service team and youth volunteer service team as the main body has been formed.The elderly are the main force involved in community volunteering.The problem of aging has gradually become a worldwide problem,and various countries are looking for ways and measures to enable the elderly to "do something" in their later years,so that more elderly people can participate in community volunteer services and give full play to the residual heat of the elderly,which can be effectively solved.problem in this regard.By participating in various voluntary service activities in the community,the elderly can enrich their later years,expand the scope of interpersonal communication,seek spiritual satisfaction,and realize self-worth.To this end,this paper takes the opportunity of population aging to discuss the relevant situation of the elderly participating in community volunteer services in A community in Changsha City and provides a reference and basis for promoting the social participation of the elderly.By means of investigation and analysis,this paper integrates quantitative analysis and qualitative research,analyzes the current situation,problems and causes of the elderly in community A participating in community volunteer services,and finds measures to solve the problem.The author conducted a questionnaire survey on 198 elderly people in community A,and believed that the current elderly people generally do not have high awareness of community volunteer services,and their willingness to participate is not strong.The problems arise not only from the inadmissibility of the elderly’s subjective physical fitness,poor motivation to participate,etc.,but also from the inadequate publicity of community organizations at the objective level,the lack of skill training,and the lack of incentive measures.Faced with these problems,it is necessary to Support is given in terms of strengthening the cooperation of multiple subjects,promoting the spirit of volunteer service for the elderly,promoting volunteer service training for the elderly,building a community support network,and innovating incentive methods.
