The Sino-Soviet debate was an important event in the history of Sino-Soviet relations and even in the history of the international communist movement. It profoundly affected the development direction of the international communist movement since World War II and also had a major impact on the historical process of the Cold War.Since the 20 th Congress of the CPSU in1956,Khrushchev and the CCP have exposed the differences between the two sides on the issue of Stalin's evaluation, the Sino-Soviet debate has gradually become open and heated, which has directly led to the breakdown of relations between the two parties and the two countries. The process of the big controversy itself has lasted for ten years and has become a historical event and historical stage with special and important significance in the study of the relations between the two parties and the two countries. The research on the Sino-Soviet debate in this paper hopes to answer the following question:Does the "Chinese-Soviet Debate",a historical event triggered by specific problems and rising to the debate of Marxist theory, has its inevitability? If so,what is the point of this incident?Combining the basic assumptions of the theory of international relations that "national interests determine state behavior",this paper explores the Sino-Soviet debate from the perspective of national interests, and proposes that "the differences between specific events and the principles of Marxism are superficial phenomena. The root cause lies in the assumption of differences in national interests. In the structure of argumentation, this paper is divided into four main parts. The first part explores the definition of national interest and national interest concept from the perspective of Marxist theory, and further analyzes the national interests view of the Communist Party of China and the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. The second part is a review of the history of Sino-Soviet relations between China and the Soviet Union before the Sino-Soviet debate, revealing that "the differences in national interests between China and Russia have long been ingrained." The third part analyzes the major historical events in the relations between the two parties and the two countries during the period of the Sino-Soviet debate from the perspective of the differences of national interests between the two countries.Through the analysis of historical facts,it proves that the reasons for the Sino-Soviet debate are rooted in national interests. The fourth part is to sort out and explain the measures taken by the Chinese Communist Party to safeguard China's national interests during the Sino-Soviet debates, and further corroborates the view that "national interests are the root cause of Sino-Soviet debates.”And draw a conclusion above this article: "The outbreak of the Sino-Soviet debate is not accidental. The fundamental factor is the divergence of national interests between China and the Soviet Union."...
