Research On The Development Trend Of European "new Populist" Political Parties

With the resurgence of populism,the influence of the Neo-Populism parties in Europe such as Five Star Movement in Italian,We Can in Spain,Alternative for Germany,Party for Freedom in Dutch has rapidly increased in the short term,which has aroused widespread concern in society.Some of the Neo-Populism parties won in their national elections or became the second and third largest party in the country.More than a dozen of the Neo-Populism parties entered the European Parliament successfully.In 2016,the British Independence Party promoted the success of The United Kingdom European Union membership referendum.The reality shows that the Neo-Populism parties in Europe are constantly moving from the political edge to the political center and showing a rapid development trend.What is the internal relationship between populism and the Neo-Populism parties?What is the current status of the rise of the Neo-Populism parties in Europe?Where are the elements of the system and the roots of the rise?What impact did the Neo-Populism parties after the booming have brought to Europe?These are the issues to be studied in this article.In the harsh background of the European debt crisis,the influx of refugees,the"regression" of the European integration process,and the continued economic downturn,corruption and the lack of governance capacity of traditional mainstream parties as well as the drawbacks of Representative Democracy have deepened the public's doubts about the legitimacy of liberal democracy and the exclusion of elites.In addition,the spread of populism in the European continent has led to the disappointment of the people to the traditional European mainstream parties directly and the hope of the Neo-Populism parties.Based on the populist theory,this paper combs the development of populism and puts forward the concept of the Neo-Populism and on this basis carries out specific research on the development status,system composition,root causes and political influence of the Neo-Populism parties in Europe.First,the Neo-Populism parties in European which are anti-elite,anti-establishment,anti-EU are often regarded as "heresy" by traditional mainstream parties,but they are regarded as"saviors" by the bottom-level people.The Neo-Populism parties have aroused widespread concern and attracted the support of a large number of voters and the rise and development momentum of them is fierce.Second,the charisma leadership style of the Neo-Populism parties,the centralized organization,the anti-traditional political ideas,the efficient network mobilization model,and the socialized discourse system constitute the unique political party system of the Neo-Populism parties in Europe.Third,the rise of the Neo-Populism parties in Europe has profound and complex political,economic,social and demographic roots.Fourth,on the one hand,the Neo-Populism parties pose a threat to the process of European integration and the extreme thinking jeopardizes social stability.On the other hand,it also promotes the transformation of traditional European mainstream parties to a certain extent.The trend of political party development in Europe will not be stagnant,and the influence of the Neo-Populism parties with strong development momentum on the European continent will continue to ferment.
