The new media,also known as the fifth media,is becoming more and more important in the field of public administration,especially in the field of government propaganda.In the era of self-media,the new media has been widely respected because of its wide coverage,fast dissemination speed,high utilization rate and so on.Government departments must speed up the understanding of the impact of new media on the public and public management,fully grasp the advantages of the application of new media,combine the needs of the public,constantly improve the focus of government publicity work,expand government public publicity activities and influence,so as to provide help for public management.This article unifies the new media dissemination characteristic,draws lessons from the domestic successful experience,unifies the current government affairs propaganda The new way-the development characteristic of the new media,actively studies and puts forward the improveme.The first chapter focuses on the research background,significance,content,research methods and ideas.The second chapter expounds the concept of new media and government propaganda work,expounds the concept of several kinds of new media and the characteristics of communication,discusses the government propaganda work and commonly used propaganda means,and also makes a general discussion on the three kinds of common new media commonly used by the government at present,so as to pave the way for the following research.The third chapter focuses on the propaganda work of the Xigang District of Dalian,and makes a comprehensive analysis of its development status,problems and reasons.The fourth chapter mainly draws lessons from the new media of Shanghai government affairs,the new media of government affairs of public security system and the new media.The analysis of successful cases of sports propaganda,find the correct use of new media to improve the government propaganda work path.The fifth chapter summarizes the research conclusions of the first two chapters and puts forward the direction and concrete countermeasures of using new media to improve the propaganda of Xigang District in Dalian,that is,speeding up the upgrading of ideas and insisting on people-oriented dissemination of new media;getting rid of the limitation of traditional propaganda discourse,talking to the people and talking to thepeople;optimizing the content,improving the user experience,strengthening the service consciousness,mastering the characteristics of new media,mastering the differences of propaganda platform,and giving full play to their respective advantages.Keep up with the trend of the times to do a good job in the short video of government affairs,with small stories to tell the big truth and meaning.It is hoped to provide reference for the improvement of the mode of the grass-roots government's propaganda work by using the new media platform.
