Revolutionary heroism is the precious spiritual wealth accumulated by the Chinese Communists during the revolutionary war period,and it is a powerful spiritual motive force inspires the Chinese people to throw their heads and blood away for the independence of the Chinese nation and the liberation of the people.It is also a great source of strength to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation Chinese Dream today,with the eternal charm of traversing time and space,lasting and new.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Party,General Secretary Xi Jinping has attached great importance to the education of revolutionary heroism and expressed his feelings of advocating revolutionary heroes on many occasions.He pointed out clearly:"Today,China is undergoing rapid changes,we are closer than at any time in history to achieve the goal of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.To achieve our goals,we need heroes,we need heroes.This means that in the new era of pursuing a better life,in the face of the phenomenon of slander,spoofing and vilifying heroes,the education of revolutionary heroism is not only not out of date,but it is necessary to keep pace with the times.This article is divided into three chapters,from the revolutionary heroism is what,the new era revolutionary heroism education why necessary,the new era revolutionary heroism education how to carry out three aspects:The first chapter expounds the concepts of heroes and heroism;expounds the basic connotation of revolutionary heroism from five aspects:firm belief,selfless dedication,fearless sacrifice,tenacious struggle and optimistic self-confidence,and combs the ideological sources of revolutionary heroism from the angle of theoretical basis,cultural foundation and psychological root.At the same time,the development course of revolutionary heroism is divided into three stages according to time.It emphasizes that the concrete connotation and expression form of revolutionary heroism will change with the times,but its spiritual core has inheritance and permanence,so the new era still needs revolutionary heroism education.The second chapter focuses on the significance of strengthening revolutionary heroism education in the new era.It mainly includes four aspects,one is that revolutionary heroism education in the new era is the need to promote the "four great" process;the other is that revolutionary heroism education in the new era is theneed to cultivate and practice the socialist core values;the third is that revolutionary heroism education in the new era is the need to strengthen the moral construction of citizens in the new era;and the fourth is that revolutionary heroism education in the new era is the need to promote the healthy growth of young people.It mainly shows that the education of revolutionary heroism still has great value of the times today.The third chapter of the thesis is to explore the countermeasures of strengthening the education of revolutionary heroism in the new era.This paper discusses the effective ways from four aspects:optimizing the content of revolutionary heroism education,innovating the form of revolutionary heroism education,perfecting the guarantee mechanism of revolutionary heroism education and forming the strong joint force of revolutionary heroism education.
