Reflection And Reconstruction Of The Relationship Between Altruism And Self-interest In Elementary School Moral Education

Moral education is on the basis of altruistic or selfish has always been a controversial issue, traditional moral education is on the basis of altruistic, and take unselfish altruism and self-sacrifice as the core of moral education. Altruism is equal to the good, it means to sacrifice their interests; and self-interest is equal to evil, it means to damage the interests of others. The altruistic moral education sets the altruism and selfish on both sides of the opposite, use the high standards of "unselfish altruism" as the universal demand of moral education. It ignored the reality of the students need and not confirmed the rationality of selfish, so it caused the fracture of self-interest and altruism. Starting from the needs of the people, it is more accord with the interests of the people that to unify the altruistic and selfish in the human nature. Therefore, clear relationship between altruistic and selfish relationship of moral education has important theoretical significance and practical significance.In this paper, we discussed the relationship of altruistic and self-interest in moral education. Firstly, we analyzed the idealism of unselfish altruism moral education,combed the idealism in the moral education's performance as well as the problems brought by the idealism, explore the root causes of moral idealism. In the second place, from the perspective of human nature, we discussed the relationship between the altruistic and selfish, it is concluded that the altruistic and selfish are mutually united as the two sides of the coin; Thirdly, from the perspective of human altruism and benefit mutual unity, we thought moral education should be toward a mutually beneficial. Moral education should not only emphasize "unselfish altruism" or "self sacrifice", it should be admit the rationality of the selfish and establish on the basis of mutual benefit to achieve a balance between the altruistic and selfish, then unify the noble altruistic and realitv of self-interest.
