Elementary school music education as the foundation music education important constituent,along with the continuous renewal of new curriculum standard,education contents and patterns are being diversified,national curriculum is no longer the entire content of school education,characteristic course arises at the historic moment,music characteristic course as the emerging of the 21 st century,has great research value.The author through to the Nanjing four typical music curriculum primary school field trip,in view of the characteristics of course include the type of classification analysis,try to use the forefront of music education,philosophy and curriculum idea,explores the characteristics of music education in the school curriculum development direction and existing significance.In this process,problems such as the fault phenomenon of local music cultural inheritance and the neglect of children's music subjective experience were found,which further explained some of the hidden cultural phenomena.
