Since the new Chinese Curriculum Standard puts forward "whole book reading","whole book reading" has become the hottest word in Chinese language.The reading of the whole book plays an indisputable role in developing good reading habits,improving students' thinking ability and cultivating students' perseverance.Therefore,many Chinese teachers have set off a wave of "whole book reading" to explore a new way of reading teaching in order to realize the training goal of Chinese curriculum.However,in the context of fragmented reading,it is a great challenge for teachers and students to read the whole book and carry out the whole book reading teaching.To address this problem,with the previous theoretical research and teaching practice results and based on the current status of the whole book reading teaching,the paper traces the existing problems deeply and meticulously,and attempts to construct the whole book reading mode of teachers,students and parents so as to integrate the whole book reading teaching into Chinese course.On the basis of this,this paper endeavors to provide practical experience for the whole book reading teaching by conducting the whole book reading teaching in Chinese middle school classrooms.The paper is divided into three parts:introduction,main body and conclusion.The introduction part expounds the research origin,the significance of the topic,and summarizes the research literature at home and abroad,and at the same time points out the research objectives,contents and the main research methods used in the research process.The body part is divided into four chapters.The first chapter gives definition of "reading" and "whole book reading",elaborates the important function of reading in teaching and puts forward the basis of implementing the whole book reading teaching in Chinese from inner and external sides.Chapter two firstly points out the current problems existing in the whole book reading teaching in middle school classrooms,and then analyzes the reasons from the aspects of society,family,teachers and students.The third chapter discusses the whole book reading mode and the basic principles to be followed from the standpoint of students.Chapter four integrates theory with practice and systematically explains what teachers should guide and how to guide when carrying out the whole book reading teaching in middle school classrooms and proposes two groups of relations that should be paid attention to in practice.The conclusion mainly discusses the advantages and limitations of the study,so as to continue to work on deeper and high level research.By elaborating theory,teaching practice and reflection,this research aims to provide some experience and lessons for the theoretical research and practical operation of whole book reading teaching in middle school and aims to be used for reference.
