"Read more,read better,read better,read the whole book." It has become a universal recognition.Reading classics helps students develop good reading habits,broaden their reading horizons,improve their Chinese literacy,and help students develop in an all-round and healthy way.Compared with the general appeal and advocacy in the past,the teaching of reading classics is actively developing.Even so,the reading situation of famous works of junior high school students is not optimistic,and the teaching of Chinese teachers' reading of famous works has always been difficult,which has been treated coldly.This paper includes the following four parts.In the first part,the introduction discusses the research background and significance,research content and research methods,as well as related literature review,and summarizes the latest theoretical and practical results of the teaching of classic reading in the past five years.The second part defines the concept of classic reading teaching,elaborates the theoretical basis of classic reading teaching,and analyses the module of classic reading guidance in junior middle school Chinese textbooks.In the third part,the author uses SPSS 18.0 to analyze the current reading situation of famous works of junior middle school students,and summarizes the following reading situation: most junior middle school students lack interest in reading and feel confused about the role of reading famous works;more than half of junior middle school students have reached the requirements of "Compulsory Education Language Curriculum Standard(2011 edition)",but nearly half of junior middle school students have scattered reading time;It can read well-known works recommended in the guided reading of famous works in a planned way,and the reading situation is obviously better than that of the original works of the selected model text and the recommended masterpieces of the curriculum standard;the reading orientation is obviously inclined to storytelling and interesting masterpieces;the electronic network reading has become the second largest way of reading;the junior middle school students do not have a clear understanding of the concept of famous works;and lack of reading methods.In view of the above problems,the author summarizes the following objective reasons: marginalization of famous works;replacement of remake movies and TV dramas;numerous versions of famous works;lack of guidance of the whole book reading method for language teachers.The subjective reasons of junior high school students include the limitation of adolescent reading interest and thinking ability,the insufficiency of aesthetic ability and reading comprehension ability,the utilitarianism and fast food of famous books reading.In the fourth part,the author puts forward some countermeasures to implement the teaching of reading classics.Language teachers read classics thoroughly before junior high school students and become the forerunners of reading classics;build a bridge between classroom excerpts and the whole book after class,based on the whole classics to interpret excerpts while excerpts to provide a starting point for reading the whole book;language teachers guide junior high school students to choose excellent extracurricular reading books;guide reading class to pay attention to students' reading motivation and interest,and use excellent remake.Movies and TV plays stimulate junior high school students' interest in reading.Taking the teaching record of "20,000 miles under the sea" as an example,this paper studies the activity design of the reading sharing meeting of the famous book guide class.The purpose of this paper is to provide reference for the first-line language teachers to improve the status quo of reading classics in junior high school and to carry out the teaching activities of reading classics efficiently.
