With the coming of the great tourism era and growing of the tourism industry,the demand for tourist talents is growing.As a frontline tourist education,secondary vocational tourism education is particularly important as well.The introduction of tourism is a core and a introductory course of tourism education.The analysis of introduction of tourism can play a role in promoting the reform and development of tourism education.Three editions of the ‘Introduction to tourism'(higher education press),‘tourism Conspectus'(tourism education press)and ‘tourism Conspectus'(Renmin University of China press)are analyzed in many aspects,including comparison and analysis of the content and style of writing knowledge.On the basis of the research results of many educational scholars,the three editions are analyzed and compared according to the theories of educational psychology and comparative education.Literature research method,comparative study method and induction method were used to research and Analysis on teaching materials,and find out the advantages and disadvantages of teaching materials,so as to provide advices for the optimization of tourism teaching materials and promote the development and innovation of tourism education.With the comparative study,it is found that the three editions of the textbook has its own characteristics and shortcomings as well.(1)There is a big difference in details on the content of each textbook.The press of Renmin University of China is more detailed in the description of the content,the content is more comprehensive,but there is a part of it is more obscure.The press of the tourism education is short in content selection and the content is thin.The press of Higher Education is more detailed but the part of the tourist products is lacking.(2)In the presentation,advantages and disadvantages coexist,the advantages of higher education press are reflected in the picture,the rich number of exercises,but the disadvantage is lacking of the case materials.The press of tourism education has more cases,has more charts but the style is unitary,the number of exercises is small but has many types.The press of Renmin University of China has small and single chart,it has big number of exercises,but the type is single.(3)There are great differences in the arrangement of the three edition of the textbook.All the columns of Tourism Education Press materials are arranged in a certain order,there is no column parallel or disrupt of the order.The higher education press materials has no fixed column,and the expansion of knowledge and discussion of these two columns interspersed in the text,the column arrangement is flexible.Renmin University of China press is similar with higher education presstextbook,there has no particular order,but interspersed in the body of the column,the column with the Renmin University of China press in the teaching body is linked with case analysis of knowledge.At the same time,the three edition of the textbooks lack the consciousness of final summary of the review,the three edition of the text pay no much attention in the conclusion of the chapters.Finally,combining the present situation of occupation education reform and the need of tourism materials,‘tourism Conspectus' were optimized and promoted.In view of the big differences in the selection of the content of the teaching materials,the corresponding curriculum standards should be issued as soon as possible.The presentation should be consistent with the content and be as rich as possible.At the same time the arrangement of column needs to set up various columns flexibly on the basis of the content of the textbook.
