Chinese teaching material is the most important curriculum resource. During the new curriculum reform of basic education, Chinese teaching material diversified trend appears day by day, so much teaching material for one key link and even much teaching material for many key links have been already becoming reality. Under the background, it is protruding more and more important meaning to study Chinese teaching material. By inspecting the history of Chinese teaching material, we can see that it has been maintaining such a unanimous pattern all the time: the text is regarded as the center, and the system of assisting is complemented. Therefore in the research of the teaching material of Chinese, study about text system and compilation style becomes a subject that has the urgently realistic meaning.There was no really teaching material in our ancient country because the ones that mostly melted such disciplines as historiography, Confucian classics, etc. It can be divided into teaching material of Confucian, private school and literary selections. Summarizing the teaching materials of the above three kinds, we can conscientiously learn much from the experience: The texts had various forms, for the words loved by children, the paragraphs, even the whole copies of book could be regarded as subject material; it paid attention to the cultivation of oral communication ability; the synthesis of every discipline was emphasized. According to the characteristic of Chinese style, they adopted forms of three words or four words as one sentences, also made every sentence rhymes, which were according with students' psychological characteristics and cognitive characteristic; They took diversified teaching material as one whole, paying attention to the whole effect. Drawing the fine tradition of the teaching material of ancient Chinese conscientiously is the foundation of grading the high-quality Chinese teaching material.Countries all over the world nowadays pay much attention to mother tongue education. We can learn a lot of beneficial experience from mother tongue teaching material of countries all over the world. The thesis takes the mother tongue teaching materials of Britain , U.S.A., and Japan as examples, analyzing their experience: The texts emphasize culture, classical and pay attention to the marrow of traditional culture;the child can enjoy themselves in learning a large number of texts which is closely with students' life; the teaching materials of three countries have all offered a large number of texts and relevant study materials; the texts have varied forms while showing respect for multi-cultures. In grading style, it is worth recommending that divide teaching material into literature and language form; they organize the units mostly according to the theme or model of expression or according to the both; comprehensive study occupies the important position in the teaching material. It can give us a lot of beneficial enlightenment to study compiled tactics in the foreign mother tongue teaching material.During the new curriculum reform of basic education, the situation of much teaching material for one key link about teaching materials of Chinese has already taken shape tentatively. The thesis takes the grade 7-9 Chinese teaching material of PEP, JEP.YWP as the examples and analyses the remarkable characteristics of these three kinds of editions. The texts connect with students' daily life; they pay attention to three latitudes such as the knowledge and ability, course and method, emotion attitude and values; the special draft written for the teaching material has already appeared in the textbook; they develop the new texts which meet the spirit of the times actively, and pay attention to reflecting Chinese nation's outstanding cultural tradition. In grading style, comprehensive study, as a big light spot, occupies the important position of each textbook; they organize the units according to the theme or model of expression or according to the both at the same time. As the teaching material of the experiment, they certainly also have some weak points. The following two points are obvious: The style of the teaching material and choice of the texts can't take the actual conditions of the backward areas into account effectively; the texts lay particular stress on humanity, so the examinations lay particular emphasis on course, method, emotion, attitude, and values while the training for the knowledge and ability is not enough.In the basis of preceding paragraphs of research, the thesis put forward theory idea of text system and compilation style of Chinese teaching material.In the text system, (1) The texts should keep proper stability in order to look after the reality of teachers and students. We should choose certain amounts of key texts to fully develop the humane education function. (2) The choice of texts should have the further pluralism, we should have varied forms while showing respect for multi-cultures. (3) In a country which has great differences of regional development, the texts should look after the regional disparity, especially should pay attention to the ability to accept...
