In order to adapt to the rapid development of modern information technology,Chinese ordinary high school mathematics course has added“preliminary algorithm”at the beginning of this century. For more than a decade, the compilation of textbooks, classroom teaching, and evaluation of the "Elementary Algorithm" content has been a topic of concern in mathematics teaching research in high schools. This study selected teaching materials published by the People's Education Publishing House(abbreviated as People's Education Edition A)and Jiangsu Education Press(abbreviated as Jiangsu Education Edition),and conducted a comparative study on the teaching of“preliminary algorithm”.First, the text is compared. The study was conducted from the three dimensions of the fit of textbooks and curriculum standards(basic philosophy, curriculum objectives),content presentation(overall layout, content layout, capacity, features),difficulty of example problems. In both qualitative and quantitative analysis,we sought to compare the "algorithm preliminary”contents of the teaching materials of the A version and the Jiangsu version.Through comprehensive comparative studies, the author draws the following conclusions:In terms of the standard fit of textbooks and courses, the two versions of the textbooks fit the basic concepts of the high school mathematics curriculum and the curriculum requirements of the algorithm chapters. In content presentation,(1)all put the algorithm in the first chapter, but the format has its own characteristics;(2)choose to set up thinking and exploration links in the content of the text; The exploration link has more capacity than the Jiangsu Education Edition. The method and steps of the A-version algorithm analysis are more meticulous and in place. The analysis of the Jiangsu-educated version is concise and clear. It aims to point out breakthroughs in problem solving;(3)The number of on-machine program statements and algorithm examples in the A-version is more More than the Jiangsu Education Press;in terms of the volume of algorithmic exercises, the Jiangsu Education Edition is even more popular than the People's Education A Edition;(4)The teaching materials for the A version of the People's Education are built on the concept of the student's most recent development area;the selection of the Jiangsu Education Edition is novel, causing Students' interest in learning new knowledge. The Jiangsu Education Press focuses on the use of algorithmic statements in this chapter, focusing on its practicality. There are more types of textbooks for Jiangsu education. In the difficulty of the example exercises, the distribution of the five difficulty factors in the two versions of the algorithm is more consistent, and at the same time,it is at a higher level in the factors of "mathematical cognition" and "reasoning".Second, the questionnaire survey. The users of the two editions of the textbook agree that their respective teaching materials basically conform to the basic concepts and curriculum objectives of the curriculum standard;the overall layout is reasonable and generally reflects strict logic;and it compares the presentation of algorithm content, language expressions, and the display of block diagrams. In the provision of students' thinking and inquiry sessions, the A-education users have a higher degree of recognition;in terms of reasonable capacity of the on-machine program, emphasis on integration with information technology, diversification of types of exercises and closeness to real life, the users of the Jiangsu Education Edition A higher degree of recognition.According to questionnaires and interviews,it is shown that although the basic idea of the algorithm is very important,it is undeniable that the "algorithm preliminary”teaching and assessment are gradually becoming disadvantageous.
