| As the main course of the physical education major,selecting volleyball courses is particularly important in the teaching of physical education departments.Henan Province is a major education Province and Jiangsu Province is also a strong education Province.These two Provinces have trained a large number of volleyball workers.There are many researches on the status of volleyball specialities for physical education majors in colleges and universities in the two Provinces,but few researchers are involved in the comparison between the two Provinces.The purpose of this paper is to reveal the differences in the college volleyball elective courses in the two Provinces from the current status of volleyball special classes in Jiangsu Province and Henan Province,and to find out the solutions to the differences.In this paper,Zhengzhou University,Henan University,Henan Normal University,Shangqiu Normal University and Xinyang Normal University in Henan Province,Nanjing Normal University,Suzhou University,Yangzhou University and Najing Institute of Physical Education and Sports in Jiangsu Province,these 9 universities were studied by using literature research,questionnaire survey,interviews,and mathematical statistics.The current status of volleyball elective courses at 9 universities in Henan Province and Jiangsu Province was investigated.The results of the survey were compared and analyzed from several aspects,such as training objectives,time for special courses,student satisfaction with special courses,strength of special courses,proportion of courses,conditions of students,conditions of teachers,and venues and equipment.The conclusions are as follows:(1)Universities in Jiangsu Province and Henan Province did not have a unified and clear training goal for volleyball elective classes.(2)The start time of college volleyball elective courses in Henan Province as a whole was earlier than that of universities in Jiangsu Province,and Henan Province's colleges and universities were longer than those in Jiangsu Province.Most students in colleges and universities in the two Provinces are satisfied with the hours of volleyball courses.(3)Universities and colleges in two Provinces all have tactics,volleyball theory and volleyball skills in the distribution of these three parts.(4)The off-campus games and exchanges between colleges and universities are lacking in the two provinces(5)The current status of indoor volleyball courts is needed to be improved in colleges in the two provinces.The corresponding solutions were obtained through analysis.(1)The relevant departments of the two provinces should formulate a unified volleyball teaching target for the reference of the two provinces.(2)The start time of volleyball class selection in colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province should be based on the premise that the time span for the start of classes should be lengthened.(3)The teacher can intervene in volleyball theory teaching in peacetime and apply it to volleyball skills and tactics.It should also be paid attention to the development of their teaching ability,allowing students to write lesson plans,or to take a small class and record their performance in the usual results.(4)Colleges and universities in the two provinces,especially for Jiangsu Province,should strengthen the construction of the ranks of volleyball teachers.Volleyball teachers should continue to study and update volleyball teaching concepts and methods in order to cultivate comprehensive sports suitable to the development of modern society.(5)There should be more exchanges opportunities between colleges and universities in the two provinces to allow students mere opportunities for volleyball learning.(6)School leaders should attach importance to volleyball teaching,improve volleyball court facilities,and create a good learning atmosphere for volleyball teachers and students. |
