Secondary vocational school students are an important part of teenagers in our country and they also play a key role in the future labor force.More and more secondary vocational school graduates will take up jobs and contribute to establishing a harmonious society.Therefore,Responsibility Education for secondary vocational school students during this period not only helps to develop their sound personalities,but also helps to cultivate responsible,practical,high-quality and skilled talents,which fosters the development of a harmonious society.Nevertheless,based on the previous studies on Responsibility Education,the author finds that most of the researches mainly focus on college and middle school students,while much fewer are on secondary vocational school students.In the few studies researchers pay more attention to the description of experience or logic assumption but neglect the collection of empirical data,which is not conducive to in-depth understanding of the status quo of the development of Responsibility Education in secondary vocational schools.Therefore,in this essay empirical data collection methods such as questionnaires and interviews are taken,which focus on the students and educators from 3 secondary vocational schools in Qingdao.Thorough research is conducted on the status quo of Responsibility Education in secondary vocational school as well as the responsibility status of the students.The author also analyzes the problems concerned together with the reasons,and proposes the concept of establishing a Responsibility Education system in secondary vocational schools on this basis.In the research the author finds that relevant secondary vocational schools have already taken various measures to carry out Responsibility Education for students which proved to be effective.However,there are still some problems to be solved urgently.First,there is a deviation in the understanding of responsibility and Responsibility Education.Second,the ways and methods of Responsibility Education need to be improved urgently;third,the evaluation for Responsibility Education management is ineffective;fourth,the gender and age differences of students areneglected;finally,there is a lack of effective cooperation between society,schools and families.In view of these problems,this research creatively adopts a two-dimensional perspective and takes the connotation of Responsibility Education as the first-level dimension which includes personal responsibility,responsibility of others,family responsibility,vocational responsibility,social responsibility,collective responsibility,national responsibility and environmental responsibility.The key elements of Responsibility Education,including responsibility recognition,responsibility emotion,responsibility volition and responsibility conduct construct the second-level dimension.In this essay the author proposes the concept of establishing a comprehensive Responsibility Education system for secondary vocational school students from six aspects: the target of Responsibility Education,the content,the method,the way,the management with assessment and the security mechanism.
