Responsibility is an ancient topic. However, it is a perpetual topic in the developing history of school education of morals, too. Human beings got a deep lesson in 20th century that we paid a lot for the loss of our social order when we were enjoying the rich material wealth brought by the developed science and technology. It is proved by plenty of facts that the losing of the sense of responsibility has become to be a common social phenomenon. It also has caused our society to be unpeaceful. To promote humanistic spirit, revive the education of morals, strengthen the sense of responsibility are becoming the international voice. It is one of the main tasks to develop students' sense of responsibility. Under the background of building a well-off society, composing a harmonious socialist society, there is a special meaning for schools to develop students' sense of responsibility.The vocational education in China starts a little late. The development of vocational education play an important role in boosting the nation through science and education. This essay tries to explore a basic plan to develop students' sense of responsibility according to the moral educational theory so that it can offer a theoretical foundation to improve the focalization and prescription of moral education. The essay consists of three parts. Firstly it expounds the meaning of the sense of responsibility basing on psychology; secondly, it raises that it is schools' duty to develop students' sense of responsibility basing on plenty of investigation into modern students in secondary vocational school; finally, it expounds the basic principle to develop students' sense of responsibility and the practising method in seven respects.
