Children with mental retardation have strong self centralization and lack of empathy and mutual help in peer interaction,and peer conflict often occurs in children with limited intelligence.Therefore,the study of peer conflict behavior in children with mental retardation has become a hot topic of special education professionals in recent years.At present,picture books have been popularized and popularized in kindergartens,primary schools and special education schools in China.Picture books,vivid images and concise picture books are loved by children with mental retardation,and are suitable for solving the problem of peer conflict among children with mental retardation.Therefore,this study aims to explore the effect of picture book reading on the intervention of peer conflict behavior in children with mental retardation.This study adopted a single subject experimental research and interview method,A total of two children with moderate intellectual disabilities who had more peer conflict in grade five and those who liked picture book reading were selected for 35 days of experimental intervention.The experimental study consisted of five stages: baseline(A),treatment period(B),baseline(A),treatment period(C),and baseline(A).Visual analysis and C statistics were used to analyze data,and qualitative research was used to analyze the effect of picture book reading on peer conflict behavior intervention in children with mental retardation.The results of this study are as follows:1.Picture reading can effectively reduce the behavior of children with mental retardation."Empathy" picture reading and "mutual aid skills" can effectively reduce the behavior of children with mental retardation.2."Empathy" picture book intervention after reading "mutual help skills" picture book intervention,The effect of peer conflict on mental retardation children is more significant.3.Through qualitative research found that reduce mental retardation children's picture books reading peer conflict behavior embodied in: understand empathy,learn to help each other skills,use this story to help peers and positive behavior increases.4.After the intervention of the reading of the picture book,the post-test score of the children's behavior scale(CBCL)was lower than that of the previous test.Based on the above results,the researchers of picture books reading behavior intervention effectiveness of mental retardation children,mental retardation children's behavioral problems theoretical research and reduce mental retardation children's picture books reading peer conflict behavior three aspects to discuss the important factors.Suggestions for the application of picture-book reading: using scientific methods to guide the reading intervention,creating local picture books,combining with the training school curriculum and strengthening the reading skills of picture books.
