In 2014,the Taiwan region implemented the basic education program for 12 years to popularize education in high school."Develop everyone in a suitable way" is the the vision of the project.Schools need to do some adjustments to adapt to the change of the policy,in order to promote the multiple admissions.For vocational schools,it is imperative to develop "featured courses" to highlight the characteristics of schools and the practical value of innovation schools.This paper is to discuss the development of Japanese cuisine featured course of the Catering management division of San Sin High School of Commerce and Home Economics(hereinafter referred to as San Sin).The development of featured course includes the scenario analysis of the featured course,the development course of featured course(including vision construction,curriculum planning,implementation and evaluation,etc.),the influencing factors of developing featured courses and the difficulties and support strategies in course development.Finally,we find the characteristics of the featured course of the San Sin,and provide some references for the curriculum reform in the mainland after the popularization of education.This paper collects data by using adopting qualitative case study method,interviews,observation and literature analysis methods and using qualitative data analysis software NVivo11 coding analysis data.This paper focuses on the development of featured course of case school based on the basic education program for 12 years.The thesis is divided into five parts:introduction,literature review,research design and implementation,research results and analysis,characteristics and revelation.The first part is the introduction,which mainly clarifies the research background,research significance,concept definition,literature review and research ideas and research methods.The second part is the introduction of the basic situation of San Sin and the development process of characteristic curriculum:the vision construction of featured courses,the planning and design of featured courses,the implementation of featured courses,and the evaluation of featured courses.The third part is research design and implementation.This part mainly focuses on the detailed process of design and implementation of the study,the selection of subjects,data collection,data collation and analysis,research reliability and validity etc.The forth part is the analysis of the research results on the development of the featured course of San Sin.Analysis data of the research by using NVivo11,and thedata includes 176,000 interviews draft word by word of 14 visitors,37000 words observation records,54 open questionnaire and the related documents of featured course.The following is the results of research:(1)The scenario analysis of San Sin featured course development: new bud in the new development ideas,rethink the school development path because of the enrolment pressure force,the characteristics admissions policy of basic education program for 12 years help the school developed featured courses,the SWOT analysis to make use of advantages and opportunities for high quality transformation.(2)The implementation effect of the characteristic curriculum of San Sin catering section is divided into positive effect and negative effect.(3)The influence factors of San Sin featured course are: less children problems affect the normal school recruitment of students,the characteristics admissions policy of basic education program for 12 years calls for the featured course of common high school,the guidance of experts and scholars helps to deepen and widen the course,leadership acts as a featured course navigator,teacher and equipment are sufficient,raise money,ordinary staff's will,the students' expectation to the courses etc.(4)Analyze the difficulties and strategies of the featured courses: the technical aspects,personnel and financial difficulties and strategies of the course development.The fifth part summarizes the characteristics of the Japanese cuisine featured course of the Catering management division of San Sin and analyzes its enlightenment to the mainland.Firstly,this paper analyzes the characteristics of curriculum development features:(1)design featured course combing the bottom-up and top-down planning way.(2)Objective positioning,attaches great importance to the attitude change and career planning ability.(3)The selection of featured course,meet the demand of the common people.(4)Characteristics of curriculum implementation,emphasizes the situation teaching,timely feedback(5)Characteristics of curriculum evaluation,notice soliciting more opinions.There are fore beneficial enlightenment:(1)Policies supporting,deepen education school featured course by combing school and industry.(2)Policies improving,fully authorized independent characteristic school enrolment.(3)Mechanism perfecting,career counseling help students multivariate eligibility development.(4)Teachers strengthen,strengthen teachers' featured course development ability.
