As an important part of the core literacy of geography,regional cognition is the basic idea and method of guiding the practice of Geography under the guidance of the basic values of man land harmony.As a carrier to study geographical phenomena,geographical problems,geographical laws and interregional relations,it is of great significance to do a good job of the basic work of regional cognition.The paper combines the examination questions of Rizhao City junior middle school geography academic proficiency examination in recent five years,and conducts statistical analysis on the subjects of regional cognition.The questionnaire survey method,statistical analysis method,comparative analysis method and comprehensive analysis method are used to investigate and interview the first-line teachers and students,in order to understand the current situation of regional cognitive literacy of junior high school students and first-line geography teachers.Through the penetration of regional cognitive literacy in Rizhao City junior high school geography teaching,the level of regional cognitive literacy of students and the correlation with academic evaluation,the thesis will provide a useful reference for the future junior high school geography teaching,especially the cultivation of regional cognition.Through investigation and comprehensive analysis,the following conclusions can be drawn:Firstly,students' enthusiasm and positivity of learning regional geography is higher at the beginning of the semester,But subsequently,students' learning interest has decreased to some extent,and their self-efficacy also reduced,for the demand of regional cognition and comprehensive thinking is higher and higher.Based on this situation,the strategies of improving students' interest and self-efficacy sense was put forward.Secondly,the ability of classroom management of new recruited geography teachers needs to be improved.Experienced teachers should further improve the frequency and mode of application of new audio-visual teaching methods,and research teaching thought needs to be further cultivated.Thirdly,the current regional curriculum literacy standards embodied in the regional cognitive literacy is not specific and detailed,which is bound to have an impact on the implementation and promotion of regional cognitive literacy.We should further refine and implement concretely the new geography curriculum standard,integrate the regional cognition quality into the new curriculum standard,and support and explain it with specific cases if necessary.Based on the above conclusions,some principles were put forward,such as student orientation,comprehensiveness and the guiding of regional geographical map leading principle,and some strategies were put forward as following:Firstly,strengthening the regional cognitive literacy of geography teachers themselves.Secondly,changing students' bias towards geography,and enhance students' interest in regional cognition.Thirdly,enhancing students' sense of self-efficacy in regional cognition from shallow to deep.Fourthly,changing and improving regional cognitive teaching methods constantly.Fifthly,strengthening the application of GIS in regional geography teaching.Sixthly,refining and detailing the new geography curriculum standards for regional cognition.lastly,increasing field practice opportunities and developing research and travel curriculum resources.
