Higher-order Thinking refers to High-level Thinking,which mainly includes creative thinking,critical thinking and thinking of complex problems,and has an important core meaning and value to students' thinking development and problem solving.Chemistry teaching design based on higher-order thinking plays an important role in developing high-level thinking ability of students.This study mainly takes the methane as an example to carry out the instructional design of high-order thinking,and conducts the teaching practice research with 400 students in the first grade of an ordinary high school in Jining City,and investigates and analyzes the teaching effect of high-order thinking.The results show that the teaching design is feasible and has a positive effect on the development of students' high-level thinking ability.The paper consists of eight parts,the main contents are as follows:Part1: Introduction.Explain the background and the significance of the study.Part2: Literature Review.First of all,it summarizes the conception and connotation of high-order thinking,which is mainly high-level thinking,creative thinking,critical thinking and complex problems.Secondly,it summarizes the teaching research based on higher-order thinking,which mainly focuses on creative thinking teaching,critical thinking teaching and teaching based on problem solving.Finally,the status of methane knowledge teaching is reviewed,and the study ideas of this teaching design are put forward.Part3: Research Purposes,Tasks and Methods.Proposed the research purpose,mission,framework and method of this study.Part4: Analysis of Chemistry Teaching Design Ideas Based on Higher Order Thinking.It expounds the creative thinking,critical thinking and teaching design based on problem solving,and puts forward the teaching mode of "Higher-order thinking" in this study.Part5: Teaching program design and practice.Prepare a pre-test questionnaire for methane knowledge to test students' knowledge of methane before learning methane.Based on the results of the test,combine the “high-order thinking” teaching design ideas to develop methane teaching design cases and develop teaching practices.To compile post-test questionnaires on methane knowledge,to test the practical effects of the teaching design,and to collate and count the questionnaires.Part6: Results Analysis and Discussion.Using SPSS19.0 software to process thestatistical data,the research results show that the teaching design in this study can promote the development of high-level thinking ability of students.Part7:Conclusion and Suggestion.Puts forward the key points and key conclusions of the teaching of "Higher-order Thinking",and puts forward the pertinence and practicable suggestions on how to implement the teaching by focusing on the teaching practice.Part8: Problems and Prospects.Discuss the problems and prospects in the study.The innovations in this study include: First,define the three core elements of“high-order thinking” including creative thinking,reflective critical thinking,and complex problem solving from the perspective of theory and demonstration;second,propose a novel and efficient based on high The order-based chemistry teaching design program provides a teaching model for high-order thinking teaching that can be used for reference.
